Japan a retrospective. (No Pictures)
So it has been nearly 2 weeks now, I've left behind adventure and returned to the monotony of regular life. It is something of a struggle. The trip to Japan was the payoff of something I have been wanting to do for perhaps 30 years? Maybe it was only 25. Either way, it was a long time, and I finally found it in myself to throw off the shackles of fear, and dive headfirst into an amazing adventure.
Japan was everything I wanted and more. The country has a great mixture of high-tech cities, and gorgeous nature. Honestly, I could have easily spent another 2 weeks there, and still not been satisfied. There is so much to see, so many experiences to be had.
I have made up my mind to return there one day. I want to spend so much more time in Kyushu, there is so much there to see, and my one day there was not nearly long enough. I want to see the northern part of Japan. I want to see it all. But that will have to wait, since I have to save up enough to afford it.
I have also vowed that I am going to try and travel more in the US. A road trip every once in a while, to sort of make things more interesting. And a 1 or 2 day road trip is way more affordable than another trip to Japan.
I suppose it is safe to say, my desire to see new things has been reignited. The only question that remains is where I should go next.
